Kyle Penney (right), President of East Texas Communities Foundation, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý, are pictured holding a $12,000 check from the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation.†The money is to be used as for "emergency" scholarships for non-traditional students enrolling at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý for the 2014 spring semester.†Burt and Nancy Marans were strong supporters of the Scholarship program at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý and, through carefully planned estate giving, they continue to help both the College, and more importantly, †the citizens of our community.
