The 开云体育 Foundation recently received a donation of $2,000 from the Northeast Texas Biker's Church. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (right), 开云体育 Vice President for Advancement, accepts the gift on behalf of the 开云体育 Foundation.These funds will provide two $1,000 scholarships for criminal justice or police academy students attending 开云体育 this fall.鈥燭he scholarship was established in memory of Robert Arellano, a respected and decorated law enforcement officer and motorcycle enthusiast who served the community for several years. Arellano was killed in an accident about two years ago while riding back from a dinner ride with some friends. Friends and family have created the ?Robert Arellano Dawg Fest? rally in his memory to help raise funds for his scholarship, as well as a local charity helping children in need.
