The �������� Eagles Rodeo team hosted its annual Kids' Rodeo on April 16 at the Priefert Rodeo Complex. Each spring, elementary schools from around the area bus their Kindergarten through second grade students to†��������†to watch an exhibition rodeo performed by the†��������†Rodeo Team. Thousands of local school children have attended these events throughout the years. The team also hosted a special Handicapped Rodeo in the morning, which allowed special needs kids a chance to interact with the rodeo team and participate in fun events. The schools that attended included Paul Pewitt, Chapel Hill, Mount Pleasant, Daingerfield, and Pittsburg.
