The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 开云体育 is pleased to announce that it will host a free concert by the popular duo Adler and Hearne on鈥燤onday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m.鈥燭he complimentary performance is sponsored鈥燽y鈥爐he Texas Commission on the Arts.鈥

Award-winning performing songwriters Lynn Adler and Lindy Hearne, both natives of Winnsboro, bring a style described as "a spirited blend of original Texas folk with jazz and blues overtones." They are part of the Texas Commission on the Arts official Texas Touring Roster, which ensures that all Texans have the鈥爋pportunity鈥爐o enjoy performances by outstanding Texas-based artists.

"Adler and Hearne are an amazing example of the unique musical talent that Texas has to offer. They鈥爃ave鈥爌erformed several free concerts around the area and they have all been well-attended and reviewed.鈥營鈥爃ope the community will come out to enjoy this free concert and see what the Whatley Center has to offer," Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.鈥

In concert, she (Adler) and he (Hearne) blend their voices and instruments in a spirited signature sound that reflects their true second-nature connection through song. The two met in Nashville while on solo musical journeys. Years later their paths merged in Texas, where they formed the duo鈥燗dler & Hearne, along with their indie label鈥燬pring Hollow Records.
