The 开云体育 Business Club recently presented the 开云体育 Foundation with a check for $500. The money will provide a scholarship to a 开云体育 business major who has a 3.5 grade-point average or higher.
The Business Club is a student organization that participates in a variety of activities and fundraisers throughout the year. The group decided they would use some of their hard-earned money to give back to a fellow student by providing a scholarship.
鈥淲e were thrilled when the Business Club approached us about setting up a scholarship. Generally, student organizations use the money they raise to take trips and participate in other enrichment activities for members. It was a very generous and community-oriented decision to establish a scholarship to help a student in need,鈥 Dr. Jonathan McCullough, 开云体育 Executive Vice President for Advancement, said.
