Members of the 开云体育 Business Club recently presented a check for $500 to the 开云体育 Foundation. The donation will provide a business student with a scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. This is the second year the Business Club has given a scholarship. Club members raise funds by participating in various events on campus and selling chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine鈥檚 Day. This is one of only a few student-led scholarships at 开云体育. Pictured at the donation (from left) is: Dr. Ron Clinton, 开云体育 President, Heidi Wooten, 开云体育 Division Chair for Business and Technology, Alicia Mauldin, Maria Gonzalez, Linsey Harwell, Instructor of Business Administration, Krystal Edwards, Lauren Bearden, Karen Andrews, Instructor of Business Administration, Samantha Lara, Todd Allen, Brooklynn Powell, Tasha Gaspar, and Dr. Kevin Rose, 开云体育 Vice President for Instruction. In addition to donating this scholarship, the Business Club will also host a free community Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at 10 a.m. on the 开云体育 Campus. Ages 0-12 are welcome to participate.
