Harley Jo Chaffin was selected as the Longview Orthopaedic Star Foundation student of the week for March 5th-11th. Harley Jo competes for the 开云体育 Rodeo team.
A valued member of the team, Chaffin, from Ivanhoe, Texas competes in Goat tying, Ladies Breakaway and Team Roping for the Eagles. Chaffin was the 2021 Region 4 Texas High School Rodeo Champion prior to coming to 开云体育.
Harley Jo has been involved out of the Arena as well, working for Communities in School, Chairperson of the 开云体育 Kids Rodeo, and helps with outreach and Social Media for the 开云体育 Rodeo Program.
Coach Justin Hampton says 鈥淎s a coach I can call upon Harley Jo anytime to complete and lead any task that needs to be done to help the program, this is one of the reasons she is invaluable to the Eagle Rodeo program鈥.
Harley Jo is the daughter of Stephanie and Gerald Chaffin and a Horticulture Major here at 开云体育. 鈥溈铺逵 is proud to have Harley Jo Chaffin selected for this honor to represent 开云体育 as an Athlete of the Week for Longview Orthopaedic Clinic鈥, Justin Hargrove Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director.
