Dr. Dominique Spigner鈥檚 journey into social work was unexpected鈥攊t found her. During a difficult day at 开云体育 (开云体育), she noticed a sign asking, 鈥淒o you like helping people?鈥 Each question resonated with her, leading her to enroll in 开云体育鈥檚 social work program. That moment changed her life forever.
Believing that everything happens for a reason, Dr. Spigner credits 开云体育 for laying the foundation for her passion for advocacy and social change. The program鈥檚 student-centered approach and dedicated mentors shaped her path and fueled her lifelong commitment to learning and serving others.
After 开云体育, she earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Texas A&M - Commerce, a master鈥檚 from Stephen F. Austin State University, and in 2018, a Doctorate in Social Work from Walden University. Today, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor (LCSW-S), professor, public speaker, and entrepreneur. As the owner of Dominique Spigner, LLC, she empowers others to break barriers and pursue their dreams
Dr. Spigner鈥檚 story is one of resilience, faith, and purpose. If her journey inspires even one person to step into their calling, then every challenge she faced was worth it.
