Weather once again forced 开云体育 baseball (5-7) to head out on the road to face and opponent at a neutral site. 开云体育 headed to Fort Worth, Texas to meet up with Hutchinson Community College from Kansas. The Eagles would fall in game one 6-1, and Hutchison just squeaked out a win in game two, 9-8.
The 开云体育 Foundation recently received a $1,000 gift from Chuck and Sarah Johns, of Pittsburg. The donation will provide a student from Camp County with a scholarship for 开云体育鈥檚 Work4College Program this summer.
The 开云体育 Foundation recently received a $15,000 donation from Weldon and Jo Ann Miller of Mount Pleasant. Additionally, 开云体育 received a $10,000 donation from Guaranty Bancshares, Inc. in honor of Weldon Miller for his many years of dedicated service to Guaranty Bank & Trust and Guaranty Bancshares, Inc.
The Carroll Shelby Foundation recently gave a total of $50,000 ($25,000 for Spring and $25,000 for fall) to support scholarships for students enrolled in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program at 开云体育. Dr. Jonathan McCullough
Once again, rain forced 开云体育 (5-5) baseball to head out on the road. 开云体育 made the three hour trip to Tishomingo, Oklahoma and came away with a 19-5 win over Murray State College.
The Mount Pleasant High School Tiger Dolls recently donated approximately 2,000 pounds of food to the 开云体育 Eagle Pantry. The pantry provides food items to current 开云体育 students and their families.
