Next Tuesday, Nov. 16, the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Marketing Department is hosting a photography event in the SUB from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A professional photographer will take still shots to be used for various advertising campaigns and promotions to help tell the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý story.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Career & Transfer Center is pleased to host Yadira Muñoz, Admissions Counselor for Texas A&M University-Commerce, on November 18. Muñoz will be in BT 111B from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. to assist with admissions applications and will give an admissions presentation from 12:30-1:20 p.m. in the same location. Lunch will be provided.

Dr. Page Petrucka, Associate Professor of Theatre at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý, was recently honored by the Texas Educational Theatre Association at its annual conference.
Texas A&M University Texarkana at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý, in partnership with Communities in Schools, is hosting its annual Christmas Drive Nov. 1 through December 6. They are collecting new items to help children and their families during the holiday season.

CMA & ACM award winning singer, Janie Fricke, will be live in concert Thursday, November 11, 2021, at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý's Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. A true country girl, Janie grew up on a farm in Indiana before setting her sights on a career as a mainstream country music singer.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Fire Academy is now recruiting for its 20th Academy. The Academy started in 2002 and has trained numerous individuals in fire service. The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Fire Academy prepares trainees for a career as a firefighter. The academy is an authorized training facility for structural firefighting under Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP - FDID #107). Trainees who successfully complete the academy will be eligible for the certification exam given by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.
