The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Art Department will host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show March 9th-29th in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The competitive show features artwork from a variety of local artists. A reception will be held Saturday, March 9th from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center Foyer.

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý chapter of Psi Beta will host its annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk, Run, or Crawl 5K event on Saturday, April 13th on the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý campus. The event will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with speaker Amy Barfield, Ph.D. and the 5K starts at 10:30 a.m.

Get ready to be swept away to another land with a mesmerizing production of Celtic Angels Ireland at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý. The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for children and ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý students with a current ID.
Students in the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Cosmetology Program recently enjoyed a bit of friendly competition with a manikin hair and makeup contest. After a lesson on how to professionally apply makeup, students were assigned the task of completing a full makeover on a teaching manikin. The goal was to include a full face of makeup and a formal updo hairstyle. While all of the manikins looked amazing, popular vote chose the following as the winners:
