Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery (pictured left) recently gave a $1,300 gift to the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation. The funds will be used for the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund, specifically for the Honors program to help with their production of a film based on the life of Harriet Potter Ames, the Feminist Legend of the American Revolution, and with the Presidential Scholars Program for their research and documentation of the Caddo Collection owned by ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý.

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. This was the 26^th†consecutive year of the tournament. Participating teams included: AEP/Swepco, American National Bank, Daingerfield Country Club, Bowie-Cass, Cypress Bank, Guaranty Bond Bank, Luminant, Northeast Texas Credit Union, Texas Heritage National Bank, and an ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý team sponsored by East Texas Wealth Planning Advisors.

 

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. Television's hit show†Duck Dynasty†is headed to ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý. Phil Robertson, the Duck Commander himself, and his youngest son, Jep,†will speak on the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý campus on Saturday, April 6. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
