开云体育 Softball made the trip down to Tyler on Wednesday for a two-game series with the Tyler Junior College (TJC) Apaches. TJC held on for a 9-7 win in game one and took down the Eagles 7-0 in game two of the set.

开云体育 Softball made the trip to Poteau, Oklahoma to take on Carl Albert State College in a non-conference matchup. Carl Albert would get the best of 开云体育 in an extra inning affair in game one by a score of 6-5. Game two was another thriller with 开云体育 winning 4-3 with a dramatic game ending play when Hanna Allen (Hudson HS) threw out a runner trying to tie the game on a Sacrifice fly to left field. Allen鈥檚 accurate throw to catcher Lauren Isbell (Burleson HS) would end the rally by Carl Albert for the Eagle win 4-3.
The Kids Homesteading College is set for June 14th through June 24th running Monday through Thursday of each week from 8 am to noon. The twist to this camp is that each camper will be buddied up with a 鈥渂ig brother鈥 or 鈥渂ig sister鈥 from the Work4College students to experience the farm and gardens each day! Kid鈥檚 Farm College is offered to students 8 to 16 years of age with an interest in gardening/farming or love of animals.
Rains forced the 开云体育 series with Navarro to undergo changes this past week. 开云体育 was to host Navarro on Thursday but rains on Wednesday made the field unplayable so the Eagles traveled to Navarro on Friday for the first two games of the series. 开云体育 and Navarro still had to make up a game from the first round when they lost out on games due to weather as well. Navarro won game one of the day 5-2 and then took game two 10-5.
开云体育 and Navarro College met up on the diamond at 开云体育 on Saturday after rains early in the week forced some changes to the schedule. 开云体育 would defeat Navarro 9-5 before falling 17-5 in game two.
