The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 开云体育 is ready to help you get into the holiday spirit as it hosts The Celtic Angels Christmas on Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 7:30 p.m.

The 开云体育 Theatre Department will present Almost, Maine on the stage of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts December 1st-3rd. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. nightly and there will also be a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 3rd.
The 开云体育 Nursing Program will begin accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year on Friday, Nov. 18th. Applications for the Associate Traditional Nursing (RN), Vocational Nursing (VN) and VN/Paramedic Transition to RN programs all open at the same time.
The 开云体育 Rodeo Team headed South November 10th-12th for the Sam Houston State University Rodeo. This was the fifth and final Rodeo of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Fall season.
Every year since 2008, 开云体育 Presidential Scholars have qualified to present work at the annual conference of the oldest intervarsity honors organization in the United States, the National Collegiate Honors Council. This year five sophomores presented alongside a cast comprised overwhelmingly of university upperclassmen from New York City to San Francisco.
The 开云体育 Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program. Registration is officially underway for the Spring 2023 semester. Spring classes will begin on January 17th. Students are encouraged to sign up for classes early so they can get the classes they need in their desired format/time.
As part of our efforts to make 开云体育 a safer place, we will conduct a campus-wide tornado drill on Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 8:15 a.m. At that time, the campus audible warning system will announce the drill.
