The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Men’s Soccer team opened conference play against Coastal Bend College (Beeville, TX) on Saturday, September 3rd. The Eagles defeated the Cougars 2-1 to get Coach JD Perales his first win as Head Coach of the Eagles.
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Athletics wants to welcome all back to the campus for the 2022-2023 year. For those who are new, or returning we wanted to introduce the coaching staff to you. Each week we will send out a bio on each of the coaching staff. This week we are highlighting Head Women’s Soccer/Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach Heather Brady.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Wesley Fellowship has resumed their weekly lunches. Volunteers from the Wesley Fellowship provide free lunch and fellowship for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý students at the Wesley Student Center (north of the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý campus off FM 1735) on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to join Rev. Allyson Penny and the Wesley crew for a new season of joy! Follow them on for the latest updates on events and activities at the Wesley Student Center.

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Women’s and Men’s Soccer teams kicked off the 2022 season at home against the LSU-Eunice Bengals. LSU-E Women would mount a comeback and defeat the Eagles 3-2 and the men’s squad for the Bengals won 3-1 on Wednesday.
Do you have an interest in traveling abroad? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý recently announced a new travel study course to Mexico City. During the May 2023 minimester, Carmen Shurtleff, Instructor of Social Work/Sociology, will lead a group of students on the trip of a lifetime to explore the rich culture and history to be found in Mexico City.

As we kick off a new school year, it is important that everyone is made aware of what to do and how to make sure they receive emergency alerts. We will be conducting a test of our alert system on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 9:45 a.m.
