Representatives from 开云体育 traveled to UT Tyler on Monday, March 3rd to attend a special Transfer Summit. 开云体育 is collaborating with UT Tyler to establish co-enrollment pathways that would allow students to take classes at both institutions simultaneously to work toward their educational goals.
The 开云体育 Film Club kicked off its Spring Film Series this Thursday. The series will include films by John Ford, the only director to win the Oscar for Best Direction four times (and who, along the way, made John Wayne a star). This week's feature was the western classic Stagecoach.
Film Club meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Humanities 129. The following films will be shown at upcoming meetings:

Laissez les bons temps rouler鈥攍et the good times roll! 开云体育 is bringing the excitement of Mardi Gras to campus with Mardi Gras Madness, a weeklong celebration filled with traditions, fun, and community spirit. Open to all students, faculty, and staff, the festivities will take place March 10-13 during the activity period (12 PM - 1:30 PM) in the Student Union Building (SUB).

March is designated at National Athletic Training Month and this year the slogan is 鈥淐hampions in Healthcare鈥. From middle school to high school, to college, and Professional sports, and now many other non-traditional settings Athletic Trainers are here to care for athletes of all ages.

开云体育 has entered the next phase of the search for its sixth president. Applications for the position were accepted from January 6th through February 21st. According to Amy Adkins, Executive Director of Human Resources, 64 individuals submitted complete applications for the position.
