The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Board of Trustees met for its regular February meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25th. Vice Chairman Russell East led the meeting in the absence of Chairman Robin Sharp. All other members were present.

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Police Department is responsible for the protection of the College community, emergency assistance, crime prevention and reporting, enforcement of state and local laws and campus regulations. They provide 24/7/365 patrol coverage to our main campus and outreach centers through a hybrid model of uniformed Campus Police Officers and Campus Security Officers.
The Northeast Texas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) proudly announces that its director, Tim Wilson, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to small business growth in the region. In November, Wilson was presented with a distinguished award for helping his clients secure more than $19 million in capital in 2023, the highest amount achieved by any SBDC advisor in the North Texas Region.
Monse Rivero-Sanchez served as the lead editor for the Phi Theta Kappa chapter’s entry in the Honors Case Study Challenge. Phi Theta Kappa’s Case Study Challenge emphasizes the importance of scholar-leaders following current events. It also encourages the use of newspapers of varying viewpoints.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý is thrilled to present Oh What A Night!, a high-energy musical tribute to the legendary Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The performance is set for Tuesday, March 11th at 7:30 p.m.
You may have noticed some new construction happening by the Student Union Building these last couple of weeks. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý's new Unity Center is officially underway and is scheduled for completion sometime in April. The Unity Center will be an outdoor student gathering space connected to SUB 101. It will feature plenty of comfortable seating and space for the campus community to enjoy nice weather and host special events. The project is funded by the Title V grant and Stansell Construction is the builder. Look for information about a ribbon cutting ceremony soon!
