¿ªÔÆÌåÓý is kicking off the spring semester with a Tech Orientation Week that will be held from January 27th-30th. This will be a come-and-go event where students can learn how to navigate their online classes, Blackboard, the myEagle student portal, Outlook and more. It will take place in SUB 101 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý’s Eagles Softball program was represented on the national stage recently! Head Softball Coach, Haley Colwell, traveled to the ABCA baseball convention in Washington DC January 1-6 to serve as a panelist expert in strength and conditioning. She also attended the AHSFCA conference in Little Rock, AR January 10-12, where she was a headline speaker.

It's time to mark your calendar for the annual ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Eagles Rodeo Alumni Fundraiser and Dinner! Help support your Eagles Rodeo team by purchasing a ticket for this awesome event that will include a dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse, live music, live and silent auction, dancing and more! The dinner will be held on Saturday, March 8th at the Priefert Hanger (Gate 8) at FM 4000 in Mount Pleasant. A social hour we will be held from 5:30-6:00 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Continuing Education Department is pleased to a
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter received the college’s first-ever Humanities Texas grant, a state subsidiary of the National Endowment of the Humanities. The $2,000 grant will be used to create a mini-documentary about folklore specific to the northeastern Texas region.
All of us at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý are deeply saddened by the loss of Chuck and Sarah Johns last week. Mr. Johns began serving on the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Board of Trustees in 1996 and he has been a faithful member since then. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2020 and remained in that role until his passing. He was an active member of the Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT) and worked at the state level to advocate for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý.
