Ernie Haase and Signature Sound bring Broadway to ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý will host Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (EH&SS) on its stage Friday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The group, which rose to fame in the Gospel community touring with The Gaithers, will bring their The Inspiration of Broadway show for the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý audience.

"Those who follow Gospel music will likely be familiar with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. This is a great opportunity to experience their amazing vocal talent in a slightly different format," Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý open Saturday for registration


¿ªÔÆÌåÓý will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 10 to assist students with registration for the Spring 2015 semester. Students will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.





The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.

Northeast Honors attends NCHC in Denver

Five Scholars of Honors Northeast, in addition to Honors Professors Dr. Mary Hearron, and Dr. Andrew Yox represented ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý at the 2014 meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), November 6-9.† ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý is the only community college in the nation to have featured scholarly student presenters continuously since 2008, and the only program in the nation, university or otherwise, to have featured two of its honors films in the last two years.
