It is hard to believe that 开云体育鈥檚 Work4College Program is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this summer! When the program kicked off a decade ago with just 14 students working on the college farm, we had no idea the impact it would come to have on our campus and the lives of countless students. This summer we have 89 participants who are WORKING hard to EARN their college education.
The 开云体育 Industrial Technology Training Center (ITTC) in Mount Pleasant is expanding its robotics training capabilities! Daniel Harvey, a student who is working at the ITTC as part of the Work4College Program this summer, is pictured mounting two U Factory Lite 6 robotics arms at the center.
开云体育 is pleased to announce that it was recently approved as a Prometric testing site for the Texas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) exam. This means that students who complete 开云体育鈥檚 CNA course will be able to take both their online exam and in-person skills test right here on campus.
鈥淭his is exciting not only for our students, but for the community as well. Anyone who needs to take the CNA exam will now have the convenience of choosing 开云体育 as their testing site,鈥 Emily Mikel, 开云体育 Instructor of CNA said.
