Miguel Paco, the 2018 Cypress Bank Scholar of Honors Northeast will present highlights of the recent honors film on Barbara Conrad, this Monday, February 25, at the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant at 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome. The presentation will concur with a meeting of the Mount Pleasant Retired School Personnel.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Continuing Education (CE) Department is offering a variety of courses beginning in late February and March. From career training to fun personal enrichment classes, the CE department has something for almost everyone.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation recently named two students at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý as semi-finalists for their highly competitive and elite Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. Rhylie Anderson of Winnsboro and Lilly Haack of Wenona, Illinois both made the shortlist for the scholarship.
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program is pleased to announce that ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý is now a testing site for the National Registry (NR), which is the certifying agency for EMS personnel nationwide. This opportunity for onsite testing will provide ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý program graduates and other qualified individuals at all levels of EMS training with a local option to take their professional exams.
On Thursday, February 21, at 12:15 PM in the Community Room of the Mount Pleasant Library three members of Honors Northeast will present original essays on regional issues.
