The 开云体育 Eagle Softball team started the Spring Season off by traveling to Marshall, Texas to scrimmage East Texas Baptist University on Friday. The scrimmage was moved up from Saturday to Friday to try to beat the weather.

Coach Freeman is in his third season as the Leader of the Eagle Softball program. Coach Josh came to 开云体育 from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. Christopher Newport University is a NCAA Division III program where he served as Assistant head coach.
