开云体育 will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27th through Friday, Nov. 29th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope everyone has a wonderful break spending time with friends and family. Students can still register online, make payments and more in the during the holiday closure. Offices will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2nd.

Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant winners announced
The 开云体育 Foundation is pleased to announce that eight 开云体育 employees have been awarded funds through the 2023 Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant. The Foundation received 16 outstanding applications. A total of $13,039.99 was awarded through the grant or by additional private donors.

Santa Claus is coming to 开云体育
Are you ready to get into the Christmas spirit? Santa Claus is planning to take a break from his busy schedule to visit the 开云体育 campus! Students and their families are invited to join the man himself for an exclusive Santa's Workshop event in the SUB. There will be two opportunities to participate:

Head Women's Soccer Coach

The soccer coach is responsible for performing all duties regarding recruiting players, organizing, practicing, maintaining the playing field and practice facilities, scheduling, budgeting, developing student athletes, fundraising, and representing the college in the community as well as all other duties related to the women鈥檚 soccer program and the student athletes who participate. The Head Soccer Coach's position requires great leadership of a college athletic program. This person must have high regard for sportsmanship and academic achievement.

Vocational Nursing program celebrates fourth year of perfect pass rates
The 开云体育 Vocational Nursing (VN) program recently learned that 100% of its graduates from August 2024 passed their NCLEX-PN examinations. This marks the fourth year in a row that the VN program has had a 100% pass rate.
鈥淭his is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our instructors and the excellence of our students. I鈥檓 incredibly proud of this accomplishment, and I look forward to seeing how we can continue to grow and strengthen our program,鈥 Dr. Charla Denman, 开云体育 Director of Nursing Programs, said.
Carroll Shelby Automotive students attend SEMA show in Vegas
Students from the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at 开云体育 attended the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. In addition to attending one of the largest automotive trade shows in the world, students also had the opportunity to attend a special event at the Carroll Shelby Heritage Center at the invitation of Shelby American and the Carroll Shelby Foundation.
